Last week I shared maxim number 6 with you: Move yourself happy.

As promised here is this weeks maxim for you.

#7 Be tenacious and resilient

These traits are essential to become a successful fit pro and get the best out of life. 

Tenacious

Meaning: Not readily relinquishing a position, principle, or course of action; determined.

If your goal is to make your passion your profession, great, I will support you with this dream. However, don’t expect it to be an easy journey. There will be times when you have to step out of your comfort zone, self-doubt creeps in, and you will want to quit. When you come up against challenges, this is when your tenacity needs to kick in. Use your competitive nature, say screw you to self-doubt, trust the process and punch on!

Resilient

Meaning: Able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions.

Stress is awful. It can be debilitating and make you ill. During your career and your life, you will experience setbacks and trauma. You have to draw upon all your available resources and keep going.

This is why I have always; liked the expression “if you are going through hell, keep going”.
