Ross Mills

Ross is the Head Tutor of Storm Fitness Academy Ltd. He has worked in the sport and fitness industry since 2002, Starting as a Gym Instructor then teaching one on one personal training and teaching group exercise sessions such as spinning, kettlebells and circuit training.

After working as gym Instructor for a few years he developed a keen interest in special population groups and wanted to advance his career by helping these people. So in 2004 became a GP exercise referral consultant at Impulse Leisure going on to lead and run the scheme.

In 2014 Ross decided a change of career was needed and felt he would like to help those who wanted to gain qualifications in the health and fitness world and wanted to pass on the knowledge he had picked up during his career. Ross undertook the assessing vocational achievement qualification under the tutelage of Jon Bond.

Then later in 2015 Ross was offered a teaching role for a company in London where he gained his teaching qualification and experience by teaching in different areas around London, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool. In October 2016 He was head hunted to work for Storm Fitness Academy as their Head Tutor.

When Ross isn’t at work he enjoys resistance training and rugby as hobbies but to unwind he likes a cheeky red wine here and there.
