Time Management

One of the biggest barriers you hear mentioned when people are excusing their lack of commitment to a new habit is ‘TIME’.   ‘I just don’t have enough time’ ‘Its time though isn’t it’ Its alright for him/her they don’t have any kids, he/she has all the time in the world’ ‘Its finding the time though isn’t it’   Have you ever said any of those sentences? I know I have. When it comes to exercise, you probably hear it mentioned then more than any other time. However, lets be honest, if there was a very large financial incentive, lets say £1,000,000, then I’m pretty sure anyone would make the time. So as harsh as it sounds they are just excuses and as Charles Poliquin would say, excuses are for pregnant nuns!!! So it just comes down to how badly you want something. We now know that just 4 mins of interval training 3 times a week has great benefits and can significantly help with fat loss and cardiovascular fitness. So those that say they don’t have time to exercise should ask themselves, can I fit into my busy week 12 minutes of exercise? The answer should be YES. If it isn’t, then don’t worry, there is an easy solution to this, three times a week get up 4 mins earlier! Its that simple. You could even shave four minutes off your lunch break or 4 mins off your evening telly. Do all three every day and that’s an extra 12 minutes a day.   Exercise should be a priority for you. It will make you healthier and happier, making you a better husband, wife, mother, father, sister, brother, boss, employee,  blah blah blah . Ok, you get the point, so no more excuses. MAKE THE TIME TO EXERCISE.
